Please note that as a result of the Covid-19 virus problem, we wanted to share the following precautions with you:
Our office remains open but we request you read this letter before coming.
3 questions to see if you should come to your appointment; if yes, then please cancel.
- Do you currently have any respiratory or flu symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat or breathing difficulties?
- Have you or any of your close contacts travelled outside of Canada including the USA in the last 14 days?
- Have you knowingly been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19 or is being investigated for this?
- If you have any respiratory symptoms (colds, coughs, fever), cancel your appointment! No fees will be charged but we would like as much notice as possible.
- If you only need a phone or telemedicine consultation, we will be arranging this too: please ask us.
- If you are over 70 years old, you have to determine your own risk vs benefit to decide if you wish to come or not.
- 2 people only in the waiting room at any one time please, to observe social distancing
- If you have accompanied anyone to their appointment, once they are in our office please wait either outside on our patio or in your car.
- If you arrive early for your appointment, check in with our front staff then wait outside or in your car until your appointment time.
- Bring a coat, gloves and hat in case you decide to wait outside!
- Bring your own water bottle if you think you may need a drink while you are at our office.
- We already wipe down all clinical surfaces in between each patient with medicated wipes.
- We will be wiping our surfaces, reception counter and our bank machine between all patients, and encourage you to use “tap” where possible on the bank machine.
- If you have been travelling outside of Canada in the last 2 weeks you will need to reschedule your appointment as you need to be self-isolating.
Yours in health,
Drs David and Jannice Bowler
